Privacy Policy

This policy describes the information Astro Traya processes, why it is needed, when service providers may handle it and the choices available to you.

Last updated: 18 July 2026

Astrology profile data can be sensitive. Share only what is needed for the tool you choose and only information you are authorised to provide.

Section 01

Scope and contact

This policy explains how Astro Traya, a Bharat AI Tools product, handles information when you use astrotraya.co.in, its account features, astrology tools, AI Guruji, voice or camera experiences and payment-related flows.

Privacy questions and requests may be sent to support@bharataitools.org. Do not include passwords, UPI PINs, complete card details or unrelated identity documents in an email request.

Section 02

Information we may collect

  • Account information such as name, email address, profile image, internal user identifier and authentication-provider status.
  • Astrology profile information such as name or label, birth date, birth time, birth city, coordinates, timezone, relationship-profile inputs and selected language.
  • Questions, chat text, feedback, generated results and report preferences you submit through the service.
  • Technical and security information such as request time, browser or device category, IP-derived security signals, error logs and abuse-prevention events.
  • Payment status, transaction identifiers, amount, currency and product or credit information. Astro Traya does not need your UPI PIN or CVV.

Section 03

How information is used

  • Calculate Kundli, compatibility, Panchang, Muhurat, Vastu and other requested astrology outputs.
  • Personalise AI Guruji responses when you choose to provide birth or conversation context.
  • Authenticate accounts, maintain a wallet or service entitlement, prevent fraud and protect the platform.
  • Diagnose errors, measure performance and understand which product paths are useful when analytics is configured.
  • Respond to support, privacy, refund, delivery and security requests.
  • Meet accounting, tax, dispute, safety and other legal obligations where applicable.

Section 04

Voice, microphone and camera

Microphone and camera access require browser or device permission. Live voice may transmit audio or a transcript to speech and AI services so the requested turn can be processed. Camera-based visual experiences should only run after explicit permission and may derive a limited visual context for the active experience.

Do not treat aura, face, voice or emotion features as biometric authentication, lie detection, diagnosis or psychological evaluation. You can deny or revoke device permission and use available text alternatives.

Section 05

AI processing

AI Guruji and some report narratives may process your question, selected language and relevant astrology context. Outputs can be inaccurate. Avoid entering unnecessary secrets, financial credentials, medical records or information about another person without authorisation.

Cloud AI, speech or hosting providers may process limited information on Astro Traya’s behalf when those services are enabled. They are service providers, not human astrologers speaking through the interface.

Section 06

Cookies, local storage and analytics

Essential cookies or browser storage may keep authentication state, language choice, wallet tokens, profile convenience data and security state. Optional product analytics may record page views and events such as tool starts, successful completions or checkout attempts when a configured analytics service is active.

Analytics should not intentionally receive complete birth profiles, chat content, UPI identifiers or report text. Browser controls can clear cookies and local storage, although doing so may sign you out or remove saved preferences.

Section 07

Payments

When checkout is active, a UPI application or external payment gateway may process the payment. Astro Traya should receive transaction status and reference data needed for fulfilment, accounting and disputes, but does not need to store raw card numbers, CVV values or UPI PINs.

Do not send payment unless the website shows an active checkout with a verified recipient or gateway. Payment providers have their own privacy terms.

Section 08

When information may be shared

Information may be shared with hosting, database, authentication, email, speech, AI, analytics, security and payment providers only to operate the relevant service. It may also be disclosed when required by law, to protect users or the service, or during a legitimate organisational transaction subject to appropriate safeguards.

Astro Traya does not sell personal data as a business model and does not ask data brokers to build advertising profiles from birth-chart information.

Section 09

Retention and deletion

Different records have different operational needs. Account and profile information may remain while the account is active; support, transaction, fraud-prevention and legal records may be retained for the period required to resolve disputes or meet obligations. Temporary processing data should be removed or de-identified when it is no longer needed.

You may request access, correction, export or deletion by contacting support. Some information may be retained where required for security, accounting, tax, legal claims or compliance. Identity verification may be necessary before completing a request.

Section 10

Security

Astro Traya uses access controls, encrypted transport, secret management and operational monitoring intended to reduce risk. No internet service can promise absolute security. Use a trusted device, protect your authentication account and report suspected unauthorised access promptly.

Section 11

Children and other people’s information

The service is intended for adults. Do not submit a child’s information or another person’s birth, contact, voice or image data unless you have a lawful basis and appropriate permission to do so.

Section 12

Changes to this policy

This policy may change as product features, providers or legal requirements evolve. The updated date will be revised when material changes are published. Continued use after a change is subject to the updated policy and applicable law.
